Stone Island (Moncler Group) has timely opened its relocated Paris flagship store this week. Occupying over a 200 sqm. (2,153 sqf) unit on the premises of a grand building on rue St. Honoré, and just a stone’s throw away from the previous store, the interior design is once again executed by renowned Dutch architecture practice OMA.
The premises see a backdrop of shiny perforated metal panels, alternated by textured black cork walls. Another signature recurring element are furniture collaborations with creatives such as Tim Hooijmans of De Studio.

Stone Island new store in Paris at Rue St Honore
Upon entering the spacious Stone Island store, shoppers encounter a minimalist display table made of anodised aluminium designed by Rotterdam-based designer Johan Viladrich, and a large scale speaker designed by speaker and amplifier designer Mo Yasin. At the far end, a glass cabinet by designer Phil Procter can be found, paired with custom-designed daybed chair by Markus Töll.
A stainless steel and glass staircase leads to the upper floor, where a large section of the walls and the entire ceiling are also covered in steel panels. Here, the merchandise is presented in recessed display areas, steel shelving and wall cabinets. The new Stone Island flagship store carries the full range of merchandise, including the Stone Island Ghost, Marina and Stellina capsule collections
