London’s iconic luxury hotel The Dorchester has launched The Dorchester at Home series, a new delivery and collection service that will enable guests to enjoy some of the luxury British hotel’s most popular culinary offerings in the comfort of their own homes.
The series will launch to coincide with the start of RHS Chelsea Flower Show’s virtual show on Monday 18 May 2020, with a Chelsea Flower Show inspired Afternoon Tea available for delivery in London. The hamper-packed Afternoon Tea will feature all the fare required to recreate this traditional pastime at home, and 100% of proceeds from sales of the teas between 18 to 23 May 2020 will go to The Royal Horticultural Society; the world’s leading gardening charity.
The Dorchester at Home series will continue in June with Traditional Afternoon Tea Hampers and Make It Yourself hampers from The Grill at The Dorchester, including all the ingredients to create dishes such as the Beef Wellington, or a take on head chef Tom Booton’s popular Lobster Thermidor tart. All deliveries will come accompanied with recipe cards created by the chefs from the hotel, with guidance on how to create the perfect Dorchester dining experience at home. A percentage of the proceeds from sales of The Dorchester at Home will be donated to Manorfield Primary, an inspiring school in Tower Hamlets with which The Dorchester have enjoyed a successful CSR partnership since 2019.
“We’re hugely missing welcoming guests into our bars and restaurants right now”, comments Robert Whitfield, Regional Director UK and General Manager The Dorchester. “We’ve launched The Dorchester at Home series to bring a taste of The Dorchester into people’s homes until the day when we can warmly welcome them back to us”.
Parcafé, The Dorchester’s coffee shop overlooking Hyde Park, will be launching a new take-away menu, available for both delivery and collection as of Monday 1 June. Guests will still be able to buy the popular artisanal coffee and homemade delights, and a new breakfast and lunch menu will also be available.
