Ferragamo Group‘s controlling family is not intending to sell its stake, a spokesperson for the group said on Wednesday in response to rumours circulating on the subject. “The family has not received any offers and does not want to sell its stake,” the spokesperson said.
Salvatore Ferragamo shares rose 4.46% to 21.06 euros at the beginning of the trading session on the Milan stock exchange, after peaking at 21.22 in earlier trading upon the publication on a specialist blog of a message reporting that a capital investment fund had contacted the group with a view to a possible transaction.
