Tom Ford has confirmed it will enlarge its existing Madison Avenue flagship store in New York, with the addition of an upper floor, thus bringing the surface from 850 sqm to 1.300 sqm. The ground-floor will house the women’s collections, while the upper floor will be dedicated to menswear. A VIP room will be added on the first floor. The Tom Ford store at 845 Madison Av. which is due to reopen later this Fall, has a symbolic value for the house, being the site of the venue for the first Tom Ford women’s ready to wear after his departure from Gucci/YSL.
Tom Ford International currently operates 81 mono-brand stores, half in franchising, and the company aims to reach 100 mono-brand stores by the end of the year.
