Umiltà 36, the latest luxury design hotel in Rome is now officially open

Here discontinuity is a vehicle of beauty: the rigour of the lines and geometries and the refined minimalism of the architectural solutions is perfectly combined with the polychromy and the variety of the furnishings. Among fashionable bergères, enamelled sideboards, curious textures, liberty wallpapers the suggestions are many, and satisfy the view and the soul of even the most demanding spectators. Specially chosen to embellish the environments, the various works of contemporary art are the core elements to add value and color.

The hotel occupies a historic building that has undergone a prestigious renovation. With a variety of 47 rooms, suites and apartments elegantly furnished and equipped with every comfort; even the smallest detail has been carefully studied to give intimacy and emotion. The height of the ceilings has been emphasized by the skillfull use of solid wood paneling such as the headboards of the beds, according to the authenticity of the Fifties.          

All bathrooms are covered in marble and have a rain shower and double sinks. The 17 apartments have a living room with kitchenette, ideal for long stays without sacrificing comfort and refinement. In addition, there are also two suites with a terrace overlooking the rooftops of Rome. Materials and fabrics with classic and modern features alternate with clear geometries and refined polychromes: a subtle compromise between architecture and design, to tell a story that from the past comes to the present day- an enveloping combination of intimacy, beauty and elegance, and the thrill of feeling right at home.              

Gastronomy

Umiltà 36 offers its guests an exclusive broad-ranging journey through various gastronomic experiences: the three different ways of understanding refinement in the kitchen, hence even the smallest break is an experience to remember.

Dandy Café- inspired by the eighteenth-century ideal of Literary Café, a cenacle of literary artists and men of culture, and the figure of the Dandy, emblem of an elegance that is not only appearance. Dandy Café offers a welcoming and at the same time, a sophisticated environment, where to give life to a refined but reserved and quiet conviviality, a few steps from the liveliest streets of the center of Rome. 

For a gourmet lunch break or an exclusive dinner, the Café is an oasis where the pleasure of refinement and the taste of tradition coexist harmoniously.

Open from morning until evening, it is the place to relax while reading a book, engaging in conversations, collecting the multiple visual and sensory stimuli of ‘Galleria di Umiltà’. Here any trendy drink, fragrant tea, glass of wine, exquisite sandwich, or any delicious salad, becomes a real dining experience.

Cafeteria, lounge bar and Tapas bar, are the ideal places for a regenerating relaxing break, to start the day with eyes full of eternity, the guests can pamper themselves with a drink at sunset time, watching the last rays of the sun kiss the buildings of the center. 

Additional Services include a state-of-the-art gymnasium and an ample meeting room, with a maximum capacity of 30 people.
