Versace is reopening its flagship store in India in the capital of New Delhi, this December. The new Versace store in New Delhi will be situated on the ground-floor of the DLF Emporio Mall and will cover 220 sqm. Versace is marketed in India exclusively by Infinite Luxury Brands Pvt (owned by Manav Gangwani) which also operates Emilio Pucci, Missoni, Roberto Cavalli, Cavalli Caffe.
Versace is one of the pioneering luxury brands on the Indian market entering in 2005 through an exclusive franchise agreement with Delhi-based Blues Clothing Company to sell ‘Gianni Versace’ and ‘Versace Collection’ products. The partnership ended last year after which all the three Versace stores in the country, two in Delhi and one in Mumbai were shut down.
