Opened less than a year ago, The Lana in Dubai is Dorchester Collection‘s first property which it operates without owning it. Similarly to all its other properties, Dorchester Collection has successfully ensured a distinct prestige positioning for The Lana as a distinct brand on its own, not only as part of the chain. Dorchester Collection has been achieving and maintaining an impeccable service reputation as well as a timeless luxury product.
Designed by Norman Foster and interiors by Gilles&Boissier, The Lana features understated elegant interiors defined by a quiet luxury aesthetic, while boasting an impeccable location in Dubai at Marasi Bay Marina, with spectacular skyline views. The hotel boasts some of the largest accommodations among all the luxury hotels in Dubai, including a selection of signature suites, as well as duplex units.
Dubai’s incessant expansion has been boosting the development of the entire neighbourhood of Marasi Bay Marina with several new buildings which are now being constructed in the proximity of The Lana, including serviced luxury residences. As a natural response, to continue to ensure the ultimate comfort for its guests, The Lana will be enhancing the soundproofing of all its accommodations in the next coming months.
For the owners, Omniyat Group, partnering with Dorchester Collection for The Lana but also for other luxury branded residences in Dubai, has been instrumental for ensuring a one-of-a-kind positioning in Dubai, with a more classic luxury branding and a long term approach. The Lana includes the first Dior Spa in the Middle East, which ranks as one of Dubai’s finest luxury hotel Spas as well as dining venues conceived by Michelin starred Chefs Jean Imbert, Martin Berasategui and Angelo Musa.
While many luxury hotels and resorts in Dubai outsource entirely or in part their dining, Dorchester Collection has chosen to fully operate all its restaurants including the Dior Spa. This ensures outstanding consistency in terms of both branding and service, including an exceptional quality of the food. Each dining venue now has a well cemented branding, targeting to a specific audience which includes both hotel guests and local residents.
The Lana Dubai has also become known for its Afternoon Tea, which is probably the most authentic experience in Dubai. The quality of the food is exceptional as well as the presentation and the service. The pastry selection is truly unique, bespoke by pastry Chef Angelo Musa. The Bon Bon Cafe by Angela Musa proposes a wide selection of pastries and chocolates and probably the best ice cream in Dubai
