The world’s first Valentino Beauty boutique has landed in Hong Kong’s Tsim Sha Tsui as part of the brand’s expansion plan in Asia. The launch of Valentino Beauty Hong Kong will be followed by a second store in Hainan. The Hong Kong store will focus on sustainability and O+O retail strategy, according to the company.
“Valentino Beauty’s strategic decision to open its first beauty boutique worldwide in Hong Kong demonstrated the brand’s confidence in the Hong Kong market,” said Eva Yu, president and MD of L’Oreal Hong Kong.
Valentino Beauty has also dropped the use of paper wrapping and adopted the use of reusable shopping bags. “The brand’s strong focus on sustainability echoes L’Oreal Group’s global sustainability commitment under “L’Oreal for the Future” and our commitment to driving green beauty in Hong Kong,” the company said.
Customers visiting the boutique can scan the QR code next to each product where they will find more information and tips on applications, make-up demo and complete their purchase online, should they wish.
