Leading Italian eyewear manufacturer Luxottica, which licenses Chanel, Prada, Ralph Lauren, Bvlgari, Dolce Gabbana, has exceeded expectations with a 14% sales growth in 2012, reaching a turnover of over 7 billion euros. For 2013, the company remains optimistic, expecting a rebound of the US market. Luxottica has registered the highest growth in 2012 in emerging markets – 26%. The company owns the highly successful RayBan and Oakley brands as well as the Sunglass Hut retail chain. In 2012, Luxottica has consolidated its luxury product offering signing a long term licensing agreement with Giorgio Armani.
