Francois Marc Sastre, the new General Manager of Southern Europe at French jeweller Cartier, confirmed in a recent interview to MFF that Cartier is expanding in Turkey with the opening within the next few months of a second mono-brand store in Istanbul and two other sales points on the Southern Coast in the key holiday destinations. As for Italy, Sastre indicated Cartier has no plans for new mono-brand boutiques, but rather enlarge some of the existing ones to enhance visibility. Previous to his new position in charge of Southern Europe, Francois Marc Sastre was General Manager of Russia & CIS and Mexico.
