Trump Hotels has reached an agreement to transform the Old Post Office Building in Washington, DC, into a 270 room luxury hotel. The development estimated at US$200 million will preserve the historic structure’s architectural integrity while adding luxury accommodations, several restaurants, a bar and lounge, Mar-a-Lago Spa by Ivanka Trump, a library, a museum, a gallery, indoor and outdoor gardens. Construction is expected to start in spring 2014 with a targeted opening in late 2015.
