British luxury swimwear brand Orlebar Brown has opened its first store in New York City at 451 Broome Street in SoHo.
Orlebar Brown SoHo precedes the opening of the brand’s permanent East Hampton location that is slated to open on this month. The East Hampton store is located at 55 Newtown Lane, and the stores combine for over 1,300 square feet.
“Over the last few years, America has become increasingly important to OB,” said Brown. “Over 30% of our sales come from the US and it feels absolutely right and natural that we have permanent homes in two of our favorite locations.”
Orlebar Brown currently operates 12 stores worldwide in New York City; Noosa, Australia; Notting Hill, South Kensington, Covent Garden, Mayfair, and Canary Wharf in London; Cannes and St. Tropez in France; Knokke-le-Zoute in Belgium; Istanbul, Turkey and Playa del Carmen in Mexico.
