Michael Kors is launching kidswear in Europe. The brand is already active in the children’s market in its U.S. domestic market with a line of kids footwear – Michael Michael Kors – aimed at young girls.
Now, the collection has entered Europe. It will be available from early August across multibrand retailers in the UK, the Netherlands, France, Italy and Spain, according to the brand in a press release.
Each shoes style comes inspired by Michael Kors’ current women’s collection. The range is made up of 17 different models in varying colours, suitable for babies, toddlers and young girls, with sizes ranging from 16 to 36, said the brand.
With the new children’s line, Michael Kors, who has already diversified into watches, eyewear, jewellery and perfume, hopes to extend its offer and enrich its luxury world, by appealing to not only parents – a market which it has been dressing since 1982 – but now their offspring too.
