Tom Ford has recently opened a New York City flagship store at 672 Madison Avenue, a few blocks north from his previous location that opened in 2007.
The 12,300-square-foot store spreads over two floors, with women’s ready-to-wear on the main floor and menswear on the second floor, and a VIP salon where guests are offered a private shopping experience. The women’s floor also houses women’s handbags, jewelry, cosmetics, fragrances and eyewear, and the menswear on the second floor is complemented by luggage, jewelry and eyewear salons, as well as men’s sportswear, suiting, and shoe salons.
In addition, Studio Sofield owner William Sofield designed the store interior that features a grand spiral staircase and mirrored ceilings that combine timeless luxury with Ford’s signature modernist style.
“The Manhattan store, opened in 2007, was the first Tom Ford store, and it took something quite special to inspire a move,” said Ford. “This new location, with its combination of historic elegance and light- filled interior spaces, is unique to the city and will offer an exceptional home for us.”
