Through its recently signed strategic partnership with Indian luxury retailer Genesis Group, Armani Group has announced its aim of expanding its retail network in India with 20 mono-brand stores within the next 5 years, with a focus on the cities of Chennai, Bangalore, Calcutta. The new store openings will include several of the Armani stand alone brands – Giorgio Armani, Emporio Armani and Armani Jeans. Presently, Giorgio Armani has three mono-brand stores in India, two Emporio Armani (New Delhi, Mumbai) and Giorgio Armani (New Delhi).
