Copenhagen-based hype luxury brand GANNI, is set to open a second UK store in one of London’s top shopping districts this year. Despite ongoing uncertainty worldwide due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Danish label is accelerating its international expansion.
Its debut London store, the first location to open outside Scandinavia, opened its doors in Soho in August. Two further outposts followed in the US in New York and Los Angeles in the autumn.
It’s unclear when the new London shop will open, but the Evening Standard reported that it will be on Floral Street in Covent Garden, which is home to Paul Smith, A.P.C, Jigsaw, Free People and Radley.
If its existing London store is anything to go by, the new space could be a mix of pastel-toned interiors, clashing textures and vintage decor. The 225 sq mt flagship reopened this week with a number of safety measures in place, including hand sanitising stations and limited fitting room access.
