Jumeirah Group CEO, Jose Silva:’This year, we are fortunate to have 3 restaurants, located at Jumeirah hotels, to be named in the top 10 of Esquire’s 50 Best Restaurants in the Gulf in 2021; Il Borro (Italian #2 at Jumeirah Al Naseem), Kayto (Peruvian #7 at Jumeirah Al Naseem) and La Cantine du Faubourg (French #8 at Jumeirah Emirates Towers).

Every restaurant list is always at the center of passionate discussions, as each list speaks to a specific audience. We all look for something different in our favorite restaurants, but whether you are focused on food, ambiance, energy, design or the crowd scene, I believe that you will find this Esquire’s 50 Best Restaurant’s list, one of the most relevant in the region.

The quality of any list is the list itself – Its consistency and coherence to its audience. No doubt that this list speaks to the status of Dubai as one of the most vibrant food destinations in the world.

I have to say that I’m thankful to any publication that celebrates the art of culinary craftsmanship and the talented people that work so hard in providing great dining experiences and entertainment around the world.

Although, I’m very proud of our enviable position, to me it isn’t so much about where you are on these lists. But to see our talented teams recognized for their commitment to excellence.

Of course, we are very proud to have positioned our own Jumeirah Peruvian restaurant brand “Kayto” in the league of the private restaurant dining scene and we look forward to introducing additional Jumeirah restaurants brands to this league.
