With the arrival of the Louis Vuitton‘s Spring / Summer 2022 Men’s Collection in stores across the planet, the Louis Vuitton men’s boutique at Miyashita Park shopping centre in Tokyo has once again seen a major makeover. The collection was first presented in Miami last November, only two days after creative director Virgil Abloh‘s sudden passing, and the store transformation can be seen as an additional tribute to his talent and legacy, but also as a hats off to his last men’s collection.

The boutique’s façade of glass and Damier pattern of twisted metal sees giant colourful graphics depicting silhouettes from the collection, and indoors, a special pop-up space has been created that’s anchored by an installation featuring a paper airplane with a blue sky graphic and a checkered backdrop, in addition to mannequins painted with psychedelic paint.
The setting is interspersed with a curated range of items from the collection. Louis Vuitton‘s two flagship stores on Omotesando dori and in Ginza also feature specially designed windows and shop sections, in addition to many of the brand’s stores across the planet.
