Ammar Hilal has joined Raffles Dubai and Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk as managing director. He moves from Fairmont Dubai, another Accor property. In his new role he will oversee the daily operations of the new property as well as lead the strategic direction of Raffles Dubai.
Born and raised in Germany, Ammar brings 30 years of international hospitality experience. Previous roles have taken him to Hilton, Mandarin Oriental, Ritz-Carlton, Rosewood Hotels, One&Only and Jumeirah Group in cities including Hamburg, Bangkok, Cairo, New York, Hawaii, London, Hong Kong, Mauritius, and Antalya.
