The final piece joins the Royal Oak’s 50th Anniversary celebrations of 2022, as illustrated by the commemorative “50 Years” winding rotor visible through the watch’s sapphire crystal caseback, which will be phased out as the model enters 2023.
The 41mm black ceramic Royal Oak Selfwinding Chronograph is lifted using pink gold accents and rhodium-plated exposed bolt heads, while the small seconds sub dial has been enlarged slightly to match the size of the two chronograph registers. The model is available now at Audemars Piguet, priced $74,600 USD.
