From luxury hotels and restaurants to corporate headquarters, banks and IT hubs, Bucharest’s Calea Victoriei boulevard has always been a vital core of business and urban life. The net turnover of companies based on Calea Victoriei in Bucharest was 5.06 billion lei last year, according to termene.ro.
The turnover was achieved by the 683 companies that filed their balance sheets for 2024 and are based on Calea Victoriei. The revenues of companies located on Calea Victoriei decreased by almost 1.5 billion lei compared to 2022. At that time, the turnover of companies on Calea Victoriei reached RON 6.46 billion. The collapse of 1.5 billion lei can be explained by the lower turnover of HS Timber Productions, which is based on Calea Victoriei, the company that has since sold part of its wood processing units in Alba County.
As a comparison over the past decade, in 2015, businesses on Calea Victoriei were worth 3.9 billion lei. This value shows an average of about 1 million lei net profit per company, a sign that the boulevard remains a stable business space with returns above the national economy average. The most profitable year for companies on Calea Victoriei was 2021, when the net profit was 938 million lei.
