ORLEBAR BROWN will open a new boutique this summer at the Ibiza Gallery luxury retail complex in Playa d’en Bossa, further strengthening its position in Spain with a new location in one of the Mediterranean’s key destinations. “There are very few places on the planet that embody summer as well as Ibiza, so we are delighted to join the vibrant community at Ibiza Gallery and The Site,” said the brand’s founder, Adam Brown, of the forthcoming opening on the island.
With this new opening, the brand will grow its footprint in Ibiza, where it already operates a shop on Carrer Camí de sa Torre, and will consolidate its position in the Spanish market, taking it to a total of eight points of sale. The brand is currently present in locations including Palma de Mallorca, Barcelona, Madrid, and Marbella, via shop-in-shops at El Corte Inglésdepartment stores as well as standalone boutiques.
Founded in 2007, Orlebar Brown has formed part of Chanel since 2018 and, in recent years, has diversified its offer, broadening its range with ready-to-wear and accessories. Today, it operates more than 50 standalone boutiques worldwide and is stocked in over 250 points of sale across international destinations such as London, Paris, New York, Miami, and Dubai.
Meanwhile, the Ibiza Gallery resort is part of the luxury destination The Site Ibiza, which brings together retail, art, and gastronomy on Ibiza’s beachfront. The complex is owned by Spanish conglomerate Grupo Empresas Matutes (GEM), which also owns companies such as Palladium Hotel Group, and specialises in the hospitality, real estate, retail, and leisure sectors.
