Conrad Brickell (Miami) has recently completed a multi-million dollar renovation. The luxury hotel is located within the iconic Brickell Arch Tower which occupies an entire block within Miami’s vibrant Financial District.
Renowned interior design firm Champalimaud was entrusted to transform the public spaces and amenities, meeting spaces, corridors and guestrooms. The renovation is on schedule to be finished by December.
Additionally, a new culinary experience under the direction of Chef Pablo Lamon, called Nativo Kitchen + Bar (NKB), will showcase Miami Cuisine, which is flavourful, diverse, colorful and impacted by Latin American influences. Acclaimed Chef Pablo Lamon, born and raised in Bueno Aires and a graduate of Mausi Sebess, was recently on Season 16 of Top Chef, has been invited to cook at the James Beard House and has been involved in the operation of the Matador Room in Miami Beach, Employees Only, 27 Restaurant & Bar and the Broken Shaker.

Champalimaud’s design approach sought to converge the impressive architectural components of the skyscraper with the heartbeat of Downtown Miami and the pulse and playfulness of Miami Beach. The result are renovated interiors that create an elevated guest experience for the business traveler and a respite in an unexpected place for the transient guest. The design is a departure from the corporate and business hotels in the area with an emphasis on rich colors inspired by local flora, neutral palates and soft geometric shapes.

“With these inspired, high-end changes, we are bringing the Conrad Miami into the future and energizing the food and beverage offerings for locals and visitors,” said Camilo Miguel Jr., CEO of Mast Capital, the company which owns Conrad Bricknell. “The building has such a presence in Brickell for its world-class architecture and prime location, and its potential will now be fully realized with this much needed revitalization.”
