Passionate, dedicated about distinctive concept development for over twenty years, Abdul Baaghil is the creative mind behind world-leading hotels and restaurants, renowned for their personality, culture and emotionally engaging nature. His track-record includes working with Hyatt Hotels & Resorts -San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington DC-, Starwood Hotels & Resorts -St. Regis, NYC-, MGM Resorts -Las Vegas, Biloxi -and The Williamsburg Inn Virginia, modeling a country estate by John D. Rockefeller. Recipient of Mobil Five Stars for over forty years and a member of Historic Hotels of America. Baaghil served as senior member of the food and beverage advisory board of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company in Europe, Middle East and Africa, as well as the Hotel Manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Financial Street, Beijing.

In 2011, post his tenure as General Manager of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Baaghil became an independent hotel consultant for “Al Azzema” by The Crystal Group, Lebanon, specializing in preliminary concept development, design rending and study. In 2013, Baaghil worked with former Executive Chef of Michelin star restaurants Bruno Contreras on numerous independent luxury hotel consultancy in Africa. Together, they joined forces in 2016 to found Harvest Cotton Tale Hospitality Group in Lisbon, Portugal.

Abdul graduated with a Diploma in Hotel Management from Les Roches Hotel Management School, Switzerland -Swiss Hotel Association-and a BS degree in Business Administration from EU Business School in Montreux, Switzerland.

Bruno Contreras’s is the well rounded culinary mind behind the distinct restaurant concepts of Harvest Cotton Tale ( hospitality group ). His Career started in the early nineties with numerous Michelin star restaurants across France, Italy and Germany, including three Michelin star holder “L’Auberge de l’Ill” and “Antica Osteria del Ponte”.

He was subsequently appointed Executive Chef at Relais & Châteaux and Small Luxury Hotels of the World affiliates. Acting as the Executive Chef at 5 star Hotel Monument Mas Passamaner, Contreras was in charge of Chef Joachim Koerper’s two Michelin-starred restaurant “La Gigantea”. By joining forces with Chef Koerper, Contreras curated memorable culinary events in Portugal, as well as Spain and was instrumental in the copywriting and photo shoot of Chef Koerper’s recipe book.

In 2013, Restaurant concepts at Veela Private Island are the brain child of Contreras culinary excellence for Harvest Cotton Tale. In 2014 Contreras worked with Baaghil on numerous independent luxury hotel consultancy in Africa. Their shared passion and vision led to the founding of Harvest Cotton Tale Hospitality Group.

We collaborate with leading designers around the world to create inspired dinner settings while crafting multi-sensory dishes with a key culinary expert. By capturing the true spirit of any destination, the authenticity of its local produce, as well as the minds’ of its community, we pay homage to Art De Vivre in its fullest form. Our Chef Bruno Contreras works closely with one to three Michelin Star chefs to curate four-hand dinner courses and diverse tasting menus, backed by aesthetics, attentive details and memorable music tunes
