DIOR has opened a new store in Lisbon, the first flagship in Portugal. Housed in a heritage building renovated by Souto de Moura on the prestigious Avenida da Liberdade, the new Dior store is spread over 1,000 sqm divided over 4 floors. The store is an immersive experience through the maison’s universe, between classics, new features and artistic touches that reinforce the link with the Lisbon scene.
“Dior is above all a dream, an experience. Bringing this to Portugal at such grand scale was important for the brand. We can touch the pieces, live the entire brand narrative, find all the standards by which the brand is recognized, and of course this is an obvious location.” according to a company statement.

The ground floor features leather goods, textiles, sunglasses, and accessories. At the back of the space, there is the fine jewelry space. The corner calls for another artistic break, now to appreciate the delicate ceramic piece by Valéria Nascimento on the wall. Bruno Ollé and Pedro Calapez are two other names who add their art to the project.
On the second and top floor of the store (the third area of the boutique), there is the men’s offerings, with apparel, footwear and leatherwear designed by Kim Jones. With the exception of made-to-measure, all Dior men’s lines are included, from the more casual and denim to modern tailoring.
