Supported by its president, Anne, Princess Royal, the City & Guilds group commends Dorchester Collection for outstanding workplace training Dorchester Collection is delighted to announce that it is the recipient of a Princess Royal Training Award 2019, awarded for the company’s outstanding workplace learning and development programme, which has had a direct impact on business performance.
The Princess Royal and City & Guilds Group honours Dorchester Collection for exceptional company training among 44 recognised organisations. Demonstrating commitment to investing in its people, winners range from multi-nationals to small and medium-sized enterprises, through to charities, as well as public and private sector employers.
Dorchester Collection received the award from The Princess Royal Training Awards Commission (PRTAs) for investing in flexible training. Through their learning philosophy, ‘It’s Your Future – Let’s create it together’, the people and culture team reinvented its staff development processes by creating a framework that is flexible and sophisticated enough to meet individual needs in many different situations and cultural environments.
As a result, growth and development of the team improved greatly, employee turnover reduced significantly and attraction to the brand doubled in a year. Following receipt of the award, Dorchester Collection’s chief people and culture officer, Eugenio Pirri, comments: “We are honoured to have received this award as it is recognises our continued investment in our people and our efforts in creating excellent work place training where employees feel engaged and valued.”
