The exclusive ETRO suite is located in the Punta Tragara Hotel on the island of Capri. Designed by Le Corbusier, the Swiss architect who envisaged it as a magical place where “body, heart and mind are restored” Punta Tragara Hotel is suspended between the sea and sky.
The Pegaso Etro Suite is a space that emphasises the elegance of these exclusive surroundings with the unmistakable style of Etro Home Interiors furnishings. The ETRO Home collection is produced in licensing by Oniro Group. The suite may be an excellent promotional tool for Etro, which was purchased in 2021 by giant fund L Catterton.
Capri Tiberio Palace
A volcanic grey floor and Caprese white walls are combined with a symbolic Tree of Life design that wraps guests in its magical embrace as they enter. Emerging from its branches are Paisley symbols, the Italian design house’s famed motif, which can also be seen on the iconic fabrics within the suite.
The furnishings are designed for royalty; from the dominating, decorative Bombay bed and the soft hand-tufted bamboo silk Varanasi rug, to the customised Kolkata line drawer units upholstered in a neutral-toned fabric. Each detail is perfectly aligned with the designer’s vision and the elegance of the Etro style. The suite also has an expansive terrace.
ETRO Suite at Punta Tragara Hotel, Capri
In 1968, Count Goffredo Manfredi purchased what used to be known as Villa Vismara. The villa was rebranded as the Punta Tragara Hotel in 1973. Manfredi Hotels also includes Palazzo Manfredi Hotel in Rome, Italy.
The rest of the Punta Tragara Hotel has not been renovated recently. Among the other leading luxury hotels in Capri are Capri Tiberio Palace, Quisisana, Capri Palace Jumeirah.
