Inaugurated in 2017, Fairmont Quasar Istanbul has been successfully maintaining high service standards and a product which surpasses many other five star properties in the downtown area. The property is housed within a mixed-use complex which includes residences and offices. It boasts two exceptional dining offerings (Turkish & Asian) as well as an expansive state-of-the-art Spa with indoor and outdoor swimming pools.
The hotel is located in the Mecidiyeköy business district, within a short ride from all major attractions. Most of the rooms and suites offer uninterrupted panoramic views of the Bosphorus and Anatolian side of the metropolis, also known as the Asian side. All accommodations are soundproof providing a serene environment, away from the bustle of the city.
Fairmont Quasar Istanbul addresses both corporate and leisure guests, including those visiting for sights, medical purposes or shopping. The property commands an impressive range of meeting rooms and ballrooms, including a luxury Business lounge and a recently added rooftop floor private meeting room with spectacular views. The property is also attracting a consistent number of locals (non-resident) guests for its dining facilities.
Rooms and suites are larger than most other luxury hotels in the are. Expect comfortable, warm and airy rooms flooded with natural light, decorated with soothing, subdued colors and equipped with handy iPad control panels to change the lighting or order room service. The interior design highlights the characteristic bold geometric shapes of art deco style paying tribute to the historic liquor factory next door, with a local flair in the details.
Aila serves Turkish cuisine with a twist – a dining venue constantly rated and highly ranked, including the Michelin recommended selections for Istanbul. The menu features modern takes on classic mezze dishes, as well as an exceptional selection of kebabs. Aila also includes a private dining area and an open kitchen experience. The luxurious Spice Library features intriguing spices and house-made dried vegetable powders from Aila’s Head chef.
Ukiyo Lounge & Bar adds a stylish Asian elan to the property with a quirky design by Marcel Wanders and spectacular city views. Savor a Japanese beef tataki, dashi-marinated lamb chops and summer rolls with sesame plum sauce. Marble Bar in the lobby welcomes guests with classic cocktails with a twist such as The Golden Horn (peach, Aperol and sparkling wine) or the Istanbul Sour (raki, lemon juice, sugar and red wine).
Returning to the property after almost 5 years, I have been impressed with the exceptional service standards. You will feel welcome, appreciated and respected. The entire team is striving to ensure the highest levels of personalisation and individualisation. Despite the high occupancy levels during my stay, service has been consistent throughout all the outlets and departments.
Fairmont Quasar Istanbul reflects the Fairmont Hotels brand DNA, not only delivering on service and product but also deeply anchored in local culture and favours. “Make Special Happen”, the brand’s core promise, is effortlessly implemented at the Istanbul property through memorable moments for guests through thoughtful, luxurious, and inspiring experiences. Stay tuned for novelties to be announced in 2026.
