HILTON has announced the signing of Grand Hotel Savoia Genova, Curio Collection by Hilton, marking Hilton’s first property in the city. The historic 117-room hotel is scheduled to open in December 2025. The property is owned by Planetaria Hotels.
Steeped in Belle Époque grandeur since 1897, Grand Hotel Savoia has hosted royal families, cultural figures and political leaders throughout its storied history. The hotel will now join Curio Collection by Hilton, bringing guests a blend of timeless Italian design and modern hospitality.
Guest facilities will include a restaurant, lobby bar, and rooftop lounge showcasing bold local flavors, alongside wellness spaces with a spa and gym. Business travelers will benefit from extensive meeting facilities, including a rooftop ballroom.
Conveniently located opposite Piazza Principe train station, the hotel offers quick connections to Milan in just 90 minutes and to towns across the Ligurian coast.
