Luxury car-maker Koenigsegg has opened a new factory in Sweden, outside Ängelholm. The new plant will produce the Gemera model and in the coming years the manufacturer will employ around 150 people. Since introducing the Gemera in 2020, Koenigsegg has doubled the number of employees from 300 to 600. In addition, it expects to hire 150 employees over the next two years, for a target total headcount close to 800 employees
