Burberry is opening a mega-flagship store in Paris at Rue Faubourg St Honore covering 3 floors and featuring the complete product range of the brand. The store which opens in time for Christmas this year will feature the latest retail design concept of the house, which was inaugurated with Burberry’s renovated store in London at Knightsbridge. The new store in Paris will replace the former smaller boutique also on Rue Faubourg St Honore.
Chanel and David Yurman are also expected to open new stores on Rue du Faubourg St Honore, while Paco Rabanne has announced a new flagship store at Avenue Montaigne and Carven will open at Rond Point Champs Elysees. Several prestigious international luxury fashion, watches and jewellery brands opened stores at LVMH‘s newly reopened department store La Samaritaine.
Mulberry, Kate Spade, Corneliani, Paul & Shark and Tom Ford (men’s store on Rue Cambon) shut down permanently their stores in Paris, most likely heavily impacted by the Covid-19 Pandemic but also by the numerous strikes and ‘Gilletts Jaunes’ violent protests before the pandemic. Fendi is currently renovating its store on Rue Faubourg St Honore.
Off-White and LOEWE are among the most notable new store openings in Paris this year.
