Cortina D’Ampezzo, a jewel of the Dolomites, has long been a symbol of refined mountain living, blending cultural savoir-vivre with spectacular alpine panoramas. Loro Piana has opened a new boutique at Corso Italia 60, adding a new chapter to luxury retail.
The boutique is housed within a beautifully restored chalet built in the 1950s, its architecture preserved and enhanced to reflect both tradition and warmth. The façade combines gneiss stone — typical of the Valsesia region — with lacquered metal details in Loro Piana’s signature kummel tone and local solid wood, creating a striking yet harmonious presence in Cortina’s historic centre.
Inside, guests are greeted by a palette of natural earthy tones. Dark terracotta tiles lead into interiors awash with soft beige, burgundy, and kummel — hues familiar to those who follow Loro Piana’s seasonal narratives, much like in its Fall/Winter 2025–26 collection feature celebrating tactile elegance. Walls are delicately in-filled with cashmere, seating is crafted from Loro Piana Interiors furniture, and hand-painted fiore di cardo motifs remind visitors of the Maison’s emblematic heritage.
The boutique spans two floors of curated luxury. On the ground level, womenswear, accessories, and lifestyle offerings usher guests into an intimate setting suffused with refined serenity. A staircase, flanked by archival alpine advertising, leads to the lower floor where women’s and men’s ready-to-wear and footwear collections await.

Here, comfortable seating by a glowing fireplace evokes a homelike atmosphere — perfect for leisurely discovery of the Holiday 2025 Collection, featuring ski and après-ski garments, eveningwear, and timeless cashmere pieces that marry comfort with high style. Textures of mohair, bouclé, velvet, and silk create a visual and tactile dialogue with the surrounding alpine landscape. Meanwhile, the Loro Piana 2025 Ski Capsule — complete with Defender and Traveller jackets, boots and accessories — showcases practicality shaped by elevated design.
In true holiday spirit, the boutique’s windows are adorned with twinkling gold stars and stacks of signature kummel-hued Loro Piana boxes, setting a scene of aspirational gifting. Wooden miniature artisans in kummel and green transform Maison favorites into memorable treasures — ideal for the refined seasonal shopper.
Loro Piana’s boutique in Cortina D’Ampezzo is far more than a retail space — it is a destination where craftsmanship, heritage, and alpine living meet. With its meticulously curated environment and collections designed for a life of style and serenity, it invites visitors from around the world to experience Italian luxury in its purest form.
