Hagag Development Europe is set to open the doors of Stirbei Palace on Calea Victoriei by the end of 2025, transforming one of the most emblematic historical monuments in Bucharest into a high-end retail project. As of fall 2025, Stirbei Palace will be gathering some of the most prestigious international luxury brands across an area of approximately 4,000 square meters. The retail concept is multi-brand, with shop-in-shops.
“About eight years ago, when we decided to acquire this property, our vision was to develop here the first “luxury department store” in the country and pin Bucharest to the map of luxury shopping destinations in Europe. The unique location – in the heart of the city’s most dynamic commercial artery, together with the building’s rich history and distinctive architecture quickly attracted the attention of international brands” Yitzhak Hagag, Cofounder and Chairman of Hagag Development Europe.
The following luxury brands will be included in a multi-brand retail concept: Dior, Saint Laurent, Valentino Garavani, Celine, Loewe, Zegna, Roger Vivier, Amina Muaddi, Rene Caovilla, Jimmy Choo, Dolce & Gabbana, Moncler, Santoni, and others, covering dedicated area rooms that reflect the identity and values of each brand. Stirbei Palace will become a reference destination for beauty and niche perfumery lovers, as well.
