Magister Seven Hotel, a splendid luxury hotel in Sibiu (Transylvania)

The owners have done their utmost in restoring and reconditioning decor elements and furnishings but also replicating every single detail to its original form. I was exceptionally impressed with the parquet and the wooden floors the quality of which is so rare nowadays.

Every room and every suite is individually designed, while maintaining a unique DNA which si rooted in a sophisticated blend between heritage and contemporary. There is also a beautiful play on colours, some accommodations including striking choices, nevertheless all in keeping with the highest luxury standards. Rooms and suites are larger than those at all other upscale hotels, hence offering a balanced choice for both leisure and corporate guests.

No expense has been spared to ensure maximum comfort and functionality, from flawless soundproofing and privacy to the high water pressure in the shower, black-out, as well as the custom made mattresses and high-thread linen. High speed wifi internet and fully integrated SmartTvs complete the room offerings. All accommodations feature generous wardrobe space. Rituals amenities, Nespresso coffee, Dallmayr Teas, Mineral Water and fresh fruit platters are included!

Less than 3 years since opening, I was impressed by the very high number of returning guests, most of which already have their preferred choice of accommodation. Service standards are also impressive, especially given the level of individualisation and personalisation. The team is well informed of the smallest details regarding each guest and each stay. The owner makes sure, that, if in-house, he personally greets every single guests on their arrival.

Preferences such as room temperature, choice of pillows, preferred time for housekeeping are effortlessly implemented to ensure ultimate satisfaction for each guest. The team is also striving to ensure the best breakfast experience – making sure that they are aware of the usual preferred breakfast time as well as preferences such as type of coffee and tea.
