After almost a decade at Excelsior Gallia Milan, a Luxury Collection Hotel (owned by Katara Hospitality), Marco Olivieri has been appointed to lead family owned and run Terra Moretti Resorts which includes the iconic L’Albereta (Franciacorta) and L’Andana (Maremma) luxury resorts in Italy. Olivieri had previously held several managerial roles with Marriott Intl and Hilton.
“Our idea is to grow and rethink a centralized managerial structure for my two” houses “- said Carmen Moretti de Rosa, CEO and Administrator of the hotel division, to underline that the group is experiencing a moment of change. Despite Covid’s protracted limitations to international travel throughout the first half of 2021, the consolidated hotel turnover recorded an important result, closing with an increase of 62.5% over 2020.”
