Curated by Andre Leon Talley, the ‘Oscar de la Renta: American Icon’ opens at the William J. Clinton Presidential Center this week. The exhibition is a retrospective of the designer’s impressive career. The 30 pieces in the exhibition range from his couture designs for Balmain to red carpet dresses worn by the likes of Jessica Chastain and Sarah Jessica Parker.
“Oscar de la Renta: American Icon” opens at the William J. Clinton Presidential Center on July 8 with a private reception, where the Clinton family will welcome de la Renta and Anna Wintour. The retrospective exhibition runs until December 1, 2013.
