Rolex and its more affordable brand Tudor Watch have opened a new store in New York’s 29-35 Ninth Avenue in partnership with local retailer Tourneau. The new store has separate entrances for each brand but they share the common retail area. Rolex already operates operates two mono-brand boutiques in New York city at Fifth Avenue and at the Hudson Yards Mall.
The Tudor Watch side is more sporty and sleek, with a clubhouse mood, while Rolex’s side is more classic and elegant. The choice for the new location is motivated by the presence of many other luxury brands in the area such as Dior, Hermes, Bally, Loro Piana etc.
Tourneau is fully owned by Swiss based Bucherer.
