A number of leading luxury brands are set to open boutiques at Incheon International Airport in Terminal 1 by the middle of October this year.
The new boutiques will form a part of Hyundai Department Store Duty Free Co Ltd’s DF7 Fashion and Miscellaneous Goods license. Anchoring the line-up of boutiques is a mega-store of CHANEL. The Chanel boutique is expected to be completed by the end of September and will be one of the last new boutiques planned by Hyundai.
Cho Jun Ki, Hyundai Department Store Duty Free Headquarters’ Luxury Fashion Manager said: “Our Chanel boutique will include watches and jewellery; it’s going to be huge. With the wide front it’s going to the be most outstanding shop – there will be two entrances and two display windows.”
Hyundai’s MCM boutique was the first to open after Incheon International Airport Corporation awarded Hyundai the DF7 licence. The group’s Coach, Alexander McQueen and Helen Kaminski boutiques are all due for completion this month and a Longchamp store opened at the end of May.
