Starwood Capital Group which owns the Baccarat brand has recently announced details about the Baccarat Hotel & Residences in New York, which will be situated in a brand new 50-story tower at W 53rd Street, near MoMa, on the former site of of the former Mid-Manhattan branch of the New York Public Library.
Apartments range from $3.5 million for a one-bedroom to $60 million for a duplex penthouse atop the tower designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. The hotel will have a crystal bar with a Parisian terrace reminiscent of the Tuileries Garden and 26 suites.
