Local Chelsea florist, Lavender Green has curated a seasonal flower installation to welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel. Taking inspiration from the changing of seasons and reminiscent of the golden foliage synonymous with Fall in New England, in partnership with Perrier-Jouet Champagne the installation will include subtle accents of the brands’ iconic Anemone, woodland verdure and warming tones of red, orange and brown.

Locals and hotel residents alike can cosy up by the roaring open fires in the elegant Drawing Room and enjoy the new all-day dining menu focussing on fresh, seasonal, locally sourced cuisine. The menu includes healthy superfood salads, delicious mains such as Chicken Milanese and Tandoori spiced tiger prawns, as well as a weekend brunch menu, with dishes such as Chapel & Swan smoked salmon, Copper Maran egg omelette and the famous Buttermilk Pancakes.
Guests can also experience The Kensington’s much loved and picture-worthy London Landmarks Afternoon Tea; a foodie journey of London’s most recognisable and historic landmarks, including with sweet creations such as ‘The Gherkin’ crafted from White Chocolate with a Dark Chocolate Ganache, ‘The Shard’ made of Carrot Cake & Milk Chocolate and an iconic ‘London Telephone Box’ imagined in Rhubarb Mousse. For late afternoon and evening cocktails, the intimate K Bar is the preferred spot. The bar has a member’s club vibe, complete with wood-panelled walls, mood lighting and smoky blue glass ceiling and an impressive menu of wine, Champagne and cocktails.

The Kensington is walking distance from an abundance of cultural institutions, many of which have now re-opened. For couples, families or friends in need of some culture, the hotel’s expert concierge can create a bespoke itinerary with pre-booked tickets to the nearby V&A, Natural History Museum and Design Museum.
Guests looking for the ultimate London staycation can now book the ‘Make A Night Of It’ package including a stay in a beautifully appointed room or suite, dinner and delicious a la carte breakfast. Guests can also make the most of their stay with early check in and late check out.
