Tumi has recently opened its largest flagship location in New York City at Oculus of One World Trade. The 2,000-square-foot flagship store is designed to be a retail hub with cutting edge technology.
Tumi unveiled the new, elevated interior design and merchandising concept that brings its brand aesthetic to life as it syncs with modern sophistication and technical innovation. In addition, the new location is the first operate from early morning to later evening hours and offers in-store WiFi and charging stations.
Michael Petry, Global Creative Director of TUMI, said, “What was once considered a ‘Store of the Future’ concept is really the ‘Store of Now’; it’s a departure from what the brand has been known for, in that we added seating for our customers, a charging station to re-charge their phones and focused our merchandise presentation on specific categories, rather than collections– all allowing the customer to have a better experience and to see a broader range of assortments, regardless of what they are buying.”
The One World Trade flagship store will offer Tumi’s premium, core, women’s, men’s and electronic collections, as well as limited edition collections including this season’s Landon Splatter collection.
